    I ordered some sprinkler parts from the company in April. They shipped the wrong items to me. I dutifully followed their return protocol, returning the items in early May. As of early August, I still cannot get a refund from them. I have spoken with customer service on numerous occasions. They provide only token apologies, but no action. They provide no path for issue escalation. Their voicemail system is not personalized, so you do not know whether you have left a message for the correct person or merely in some random dump box.   • bad customer service



    the merchandise is charged for immediately with no follow up. I have an outstanding order that was supposed to have shipped March 30th according to the only email I received from them. When I email them now on their site with my order number I get an auto reply and no assistance. I plan to file a complaint by the end of this week and notify my visa that their company should pay back the amount charged. More...

  • Unresolved Claim



    Two years ago (April, 2008)I ordered a sink through HomeCenter - sales rep Christine Henry. When it was delivered it was damaged and unuseable. I notified HC and was told to send it back. They would file a claim with UPS and credit my account when the claim was settled. The rep stated that in order to get another sink sent out immediately, I would need to accept a second charge to my Visa account. I OK'd that. The second sink also arrived damaged. Was sent back.   • Awful Service



    Ordered product. Once I paid that said it would be three weeks prior to shipping unless I paid about $100 more. Then when time to ship came, nothing was sent, sent an email off of there site, no reponse, called and waited about 45 min for an answer, none. Call the sales line and the guy was a prick and would just switch me to the other line that no one picked up.   • Horrible experiance



    I ordered a faucet July 7th, first told it was available, then that it would ship in two weeks, after 4 weeks I asked again and was given a "new" date two weeks out. I said CANCEL the order I could not wait that long both on the phone and in writing. I received an email response "Do not assume this order has been canceled" and "We will charge you a 25% restocking fee". My credit card refunded my payment but a month later (after I left the country) they shipped the item anyway. What a horrible experience and I don’t think this is over yet. What a hassle! More...

    My husband and I ordered several faucets and soap dispenser from Homecenter.com. One of the faucets was too large. We followed Homecenter's instructions to the letter: We requested and received an RGA #. We shipped the faucet back to the address Homecenter instructed. The faucet was delivered to that address on January 7. 2009. It is now JULY 31, 2009, and Homecenter has not credited a dime to our credit card company. These people are crooks.   • Deceptive and will not honor return policy



    HomeCenter.com sent me a completely different product than what was ordered. Not only is it different in appearance, but it is completely different in features. I ordered a Alsons 650 shower head from HomeCenter.com which is listed as a 651CBU on HomeCenter.com. The shower head I received is an Alsons 653 (although the tag on it says 651CBU) listed as a 653CBU on HomeCenter.com.   • Bates and Bates sinks



    I bought 2 under mount sinks. I was told it was a "special order." It arrived within 10 days and was the standard sink with under mount brackets included, which is also standard. A salesman from Home Center confirmed it was standard and not a "special order." I was charged $280 more for the "special order."   • Bad Experience



    We placed an order with Homecenter.com -supposedly the item was in stock. Almost two weeks later we emailed on a Thursday morning to check status...we did not receive a response. After several unanswered calls and over one hour on hold on Friday evening we still had no response to either phone or email. So, we decided to cancel the order and place it elsewhere. Only when you cancel an order do you get a response..He still didn't know the status but did know that he would charge 25% restocking fee plus shipping both ways plus cancellation fee.   • Deceptive Pricing



    Be vary wary of HomeCenter.com they list low prices and then once you order something tell you it will take 2-3 weeks to get it (at that price) but if you want to pay MORE (what they call their "Quick Ship Program" ) then you can have it faster. Although in my case the 2-3 weeks was 3&1/2 weeks just to begin shipping so it was more like waiting a month to get the item. It's a twist on bait and switch.     I sent e mails to George, Anita, Christina, and Brian on the following dates: 03/31/2008, 04/10/2008, 04/18/2008, 5/12/08, 06/05/2008, 7/2/08, 07/14/2008, 8/12/08. George promised me a complete refund back in January of 2008 when I placed my big order. For three months, I was unable to return their defective merchandise because they would not give me a return voucher.
